With the worldwide release of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree rapidly approaching, FromSoftware has confirmed exactly when players will be able to jump into the expansion on both consoles and PC.

Shadow of the Erdtree promises to be yet another deep and engaging story from developer FromSoftware. With a brand-new world to explore outside of the Lands Between, a plethora of new weapons, equipment, weapons skills, magic, and more to be discovered, players are eager to know when they'll be able to jump into one of this year's biggest releases.

Before you get carried away though, Shadow of the Erdtree can only be accessed by defeating two optional bosses in Elden Ring: Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood. FromSoftware has confirmed that Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on Thursday, June 20 or Friday, June 21, depending on your timezone. The full worldwide release schedule can be found in the table below:

Pre-loading for Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree will be available 48 hours before launch time on PlayStation consoles. Xbox and PC users will not be able to pre-load the DLC files and will need to wait until the game's official launch to download and install Shadow of the Erdtree.
