Lincoln – real name Andrew Clutterbuck – has become a household name across the world thanks to his role in The Walking Dead.
However, before finding fame in the American horror series, he was better known to British audiences for his roles in the likes of Channel 4 comedy Teachers and BBC series This Life.
After developing a love of drama from an early age and attending the National Youth Theatre in London, Lincoln decided to pursue a career in acting.
He attended the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) after finishing school before starring in various television roles including The Woman in White, The Canterbury Tales, and Wuthering Heights.

Some of his other roles have included Strike Back and Afterlife.
His other big part aside from This Life and Teachers was playing the unlucky in love Mark in Love Actually, who had unrequited feelings for Juliet (Keira Knightley) which he confessed in a now iconic scene.
Lincoln has been nominated for numerous awards during this career and has won a fair few accolade including a Saturn Award, a Golden Nymph Award, a Satellite Award and an IGN Summer Movie Award.
During his career, Lincoln would have started to build up his net worth, however, his role in The Walking Dead is likely to have been the one to have boosted his fortune the most.

Lincoln was the main character on the show and featured in the AMC series between 2010 and 2018.
Prior to his exit from The Walking Dead, Lincoln was revealed to be one of the most highly-paid TV actors in Hollywood.
A report from Forbes in 2018 suggested he made around £8.7 million (£11 million) from The Walking Dead in 12 months alone.
He departed from The Walking Dead in season nine with fans left heartbroken, however, it was confirmed Lincoln would be starring in his own series of Rick Grimes movies.

The Walking Dead TV films are said to be in the works and will see what the character of Rick has been up to after he was rescued from a ravenous horde of Walker.
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Lincoln is worth around £12.7 million ($16 million).
The publication also suggested the actor made around £517,000 ($650,000) per episode of The Walking Dead.
His role in the upcoming movies is likely to increase his net worth, particularly if they are shown in cinemas as well.

Melissa McBride and Lauren Cohan are also likely to be taking home significant earnings for their roles in The Walking Dead as cast members who have been part of the series since season one.
