Major Areas[]
Opening[]
A green and yellow bridge twists to a platform with a green pool. 8 Filth and 2 Streetcleaners come to greet you. On the platform with a pool, five Filth charge at you while four Strays and two Soldiers surround you.
Virtue Arena[]
Entering this room spawns a single Virtue in the middle of the room. After defeating it, two more Virtues spawn in, as well as six Filth from behind.
Tower[]
A green and yellow staircase spirals up a tower with a Virtue on top. Along the stairs you'll find a Schism, 2 Soldiers, and a lonely Streetcleaner. A hallway with 2 Virtues leads to the next room.
Staircase Arena[]
A room with a staircase and a moat of lava. 3 Drones, 4 Soldiers, and 2 Schisms all barrage you with projectiles and when they're all dead, 6 Filth spawn at the entrance and 2 Streetcleaners on the top of the staircase rush you while a Virtue hides in the bottom floor.
Ruined Walkway[]
Lots of platforms connected by stairs and walkways that are broken. Firstly, 2 Strays and 8 Filth will rush you, and then 4 Soldiers and a Malicious Face will be at the end of the walkway.
Dual-Wield arena[]
A dark symmetrical room with the game's first Dual Wield powerup in the center, which for this encounter is given an extended 120-second timer. Approaching the door or the power-up will activate the arena.
- The first wave is 12 Filth and 4 Soldiers.
- Once 12 enemies are killed, 8 Strays and 3 Schisms spawn, as well as 2 Virtues hidden in alcoves on the ground.
- Once 8 of the Wave 2 enemies are killed, the final wave begins, which consists of 3 Cerberi.
Once all enemies are killed, the door to the level exit opens.

Secrets[]
Orbs
Secrets | ||
---|---|---|
#1 | (Soul Orb) - At the start of the level, located in an opening underneath the platform with the green water. Fall under the bridge from the right side then dash underneath. | |
#2 | (Soul Orb) - At the top of the tower with the spiral staircase located in the room after the first Virtue encounter. | |
#3 | (Soul Orb) - In the lava room, you'll notice a wall with an eye on it. Go out to the Ruined Walkway and go on top of the door leading to the dual wield power-up room. You should see a slab with an eye on it, press it, and return to the eye door, which is now open. | |
#4 | (Soul Orb) - Go above the slab, and you'll be on the roof of the dual wield powerup room. Then go onto the very tall platforms for your next secret. | |
#5 | (Soul Orb) - There is a crack in the roof of the final room right before the level end which you can explode and reveal the final secret. Go around to the top of the roof, and use Core Eject to blast it open. Falling through will collect the secret. Alternatively, make it to the end of the level, look up, and use the Pump Charge Shotgun's Overcharge Blast or Slam Bounce repeatedly to reach it from below. |
Challenge Advice
Climb on top of the entrance to the level and, using the Pump Charge Shotgun's overload blast or slam storage, jump to the top of the Virtue introduction building and be careful not to accidentally activate the enemies near the entrance of said building. Go to the corner of the roof and use the Core Eject Shotgun's grenade or another slam storage to get to up onto the building next to it. Walk across the bridge and jump across to the adjacent roof, at the edge you should see a crack in the ground that you can break, which leads directly to the level exit.
Alternatively, the challenge can be completed with the Freezeframe Rocket Launcher once it is acquired, using rocket surfing to circumvent the level entirely; the distance from the starting elevator and the final room can be comfortably traversed with just three rockets.
Trivia[]
- The name of the level is a reference to both the 1984 Iron Maiden album Powerslave and the 1997 video game PowerSlave, a Doom-like FPS set in Ancient Egypt.
- The opening scene of the level with the distant silhouetted pyramid is an homage to the Powerslave album's cover art.
- The song for this level is called "Dune Eternal", referencing the 2020 FPS game DOOM Eternal.
- According to The Cone, the premiere for "Dune Eternal" was blocked on his school laptop, although he is seen in chat sending the fact that it is blocked. How this was done is currently unknown.
- It is possible to get soft-locked in the room at the end of the opening. Simply jump over it and enter through the intended exit and activate the checkpoint inside the room. The lights will turn red and the doors will become blocked by red Xs, but no enemy will ever spawn.[1]
- Using cheats to spawn any enemy and giving it a boss health bar will cause Panic Betrayer to play.
- Although turning the boss health bar off will do nothing, killing the specified enemy will revert the music back to Dune Eternal.
- The challenge of the mission is the exact same as the one in 2-1: BRIDGEBURNER, adding another similarity between Greed and Lust other than both of their former rulers being Prime Souls.
- No it isn't you idiot
